Delany Comerford is a Baltimore County Public Schools high school social studies teacher at Patapsco High and Center for the Arts. At Patapsco High, Delany is the Head Coach of the Varsity Field Hockey and Lacrosse teams. Coach Comerford enjoys teaching her players new skills and resilience while playing! Before Delany began working and coaching for Patapsco High, she played both field hockey and lacrosse at Garden City High School, on Long Island in New York. After graduating high school, Delany went on to play Division III lacrosse at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland. While at Goucher, Delany started every single game all four years on the lacrosse team and served as Captain her senior year. Academically, she earned her degree in History with a concentration in Secondary Education. Coach Comerford is looking forward to growing the sport of field hockey in the area as well as teaching players new skills, field awareness and tricks!
