Professional football coach, Steve Szabo once said “Champions are made in the off season”. Dulaney Summer Fitness is a workout and conditioning program designed for young athletes in the summer off season. This program aims to provide athletes with the opportunity to progress in their individual health and skill related fitness levels in preparation for their sports season.
Dulaney Summer Fitness will provide participants with the opportunity to track their fitness levels throughout the summer using a provided fitness journal. We will also provide participants with sample suggested workouts to complete to further their progression. Dulaney Summer Fitness will not only concentrate on elevating your individual fitness levels but will also focus also on agility, speed, power, balance, coordination, and reaction time. All of these are skills that are essential for today’s high school athlete for any sport. Each of the 12 sessions will begin with a warm up and conclude with a cool down. Both the program and the coaching staff are guaranteed to challenge you in a positive environment for you to gain results. We look forward to seeing you this summer in your off season.
