Summer Running Camp

Running can be a sport that pushes us to be our best selves. No matter your child’s skill level, Free State Camp's Summer Running Camp will introduce the fundamentals of running and benefits of exercise for runner’s and future track and field participants of all levels of ability and experience. Throughout the week, campers will steadily improve their endurance, learn proper techniques, and be introduced to track and field events, all while building their confidence as a runner. 

Campers will be grouped and run with peers of a similar level of ability and experience while receiving instruction and guidance from the coaches and athletes of one of Baltimore County’s most successful running programs. Our campers will be introduced to track and field events such as sprinting, shot put, long jump, high jump, mini-hurdles, and so much more! The camp will culminate in an opportunity for all of the campers to compete and to see firsthand their improvement over the course of the week.

While FSC Summer Running Camp provides great practical running opportunities, campers will also love the opportunity to gather and have fun with their peers. Please join our camp for camaraderie and creating positive, long-lasting memories that are well worth the price of admittance.
