Natalee Schuman

Natalee Schuman is a dedicated high school teacher at Sparrows Point High School in Baltimore County Public Schools. Serving as the Special Education Department Chair, IEP Chair, and SST/504 Chair, Natalee takes pride in supporting students as they strive to reach their full potential throughout high school and into post-secondary success. Before her current role, Natalee spent eight seasons (2017–2024) as the field hockey coach at Towson High School. Coach Natalee cherished the opportunity to mentor her players both on and off the field, using athletics as a tool to boost academic achievement and personal growth.

Natalee's journey in athletics began at Upper Moreland High School in Willow Grove, PA, where she competed as a diver. She continued her athletic career at Towson University, where she competed in Division I Diving. Academically, Natalee holds a bachelor's degree in special education with a concentration in social sciences, a master's degree in technology education, and a Certificate in Administrative I.

Looking ahead, Coach Natalee is excited to grow the sport of field hockey in the local community. She is passionate about teaching players new skills while advancing their existing abilities, fostering both athletic and academic success.

Kelsey Saunders

Kelsey Saunders is the Junior Varsity Field Hockey Head Coach at Towson High School. As a high school athlete, she participated in field hockey and softball at Towson High School all four years before graduating in 2017. Kelsey competed in club field hockey for TNT Field Hockey Club and went on to play Division II Field Hockey at Queens University of Charlotte, as a goalie. She has a Level I Field Hockey Coaching certification and has coached JV field hockey in Charlotte, North Carolina the past few years before moving back to Maryland. Kelsey has experience coaching field hockey for girls from 1st to 12th grades and believes anyone is able to play the game! She is very passionate about field hockey and loves to create a positive learning environment that allows players to develop new skills. She believes in providing players with opportunities that better themselves on the field and off. Kelsey is excited for this opportunity and cannot wait to teach your girls her favorite sport!
